Conch, a sea-snail is used in many dishes like salads and stews. For a salad: "cut up conch, green pepper, tomato, onion and hot pepper. Mix it with lime juice and salt. Eat & enjoy!"

Delicious cupcakes, love it so much! Thanks Brandy in the USA!

Raspberries from Russia, thanks Vika and Slava!

"Breakfast" (a 'Nouvelles Images card)

"Vintage wine" (a 'Nouvelles Images card)
Thanks Pauline in Germany!

From Alex in the Ukraine: 'Ukrainian borsch'
The recipe (taken from back of the card):
Wash and skin beets, cut in fine slices. Sprinkle with fat and saute with condensed tomatoes, lemon juice or vinegar and sugar. Geritly saute finely cut onions, carrot and parsley in fat. Add dices potatoes to the simmering strained stock. Then add the sauteed beets to the stock together with the sauteed onions, the sauteed vegetable roots, and flour sauteed in a bit of stock. Simmer for 5 - 7 min. After this add finely sliced green cabbage and cook for 5 min. Season with pepper, a bay leaf, pounded or crushes cloves of garlic, greens and salt pork. Bring to a boil. Let stand for 10 - 15 min. Serve with sour cream, chopped green and pampushkas (dumplings).
I really wonder what it tastes like! :-)
